Look Respectful For Work

Look Respectful For Work

The younger generations are losing their respect for people. I see more kids every day at work wearing clothes that are not respectful, and do not help business. The service standard of many local companies is decreasing due to the fact that their employees are more interested in expressing themselves than respecting others. As business owners we need to remember that work standards of dress help build a successful business. Three standards that I suggest are iron you shirt, clean shoes, and a tie.

Ironing your shirt is so important. Not many people will look at you think that you iron your shirt. This will only come to their minds if they notice that you didn't iron your shirt. If you are wearing a wrinkly shirt you are implying that you don't take care about yourself. This would make me ask myself if he doesn't look organized, then how does he run his business?

More and more often I see someone dressed nice but wearing tennis shoes with their outfit. Many times while working I have a seen a business owner wearing shoes that distract from his purpose. My first impression of this man is that he puts on a good front but is not truly as well organized and thorough as he is trying to make me believe.

Last, if you have an interview even for the most basic of jobs, wear a tie. Look nice and show them you really do want to work for this job. When I interview someone that looks nice they are already a one of my top choices for that position in the company.

We need to remember our simple respect for others. By trying to show that respect through simple actions like wearing a rel=nofollow neck tie we, will become more respectful people and therefore be more respected by others. http://www.neck-strings.com
